Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Mantis ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of service

Mantis is a personal trading journal and analytics tool for iOS. It helps traders log, review, and analyze their trades. Mantis does not provide investment advice, financial advice, or trading signals.

No financial advice

Nothing in Mantis — including analytics, reports, charts, or any data displayed — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security, currency, or other financial instrument. Trading involves significant risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

Subscriptions and billing

Mantis offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Premium is billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. The following terms apply:

• Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Your content

All trade data, notes, and entries you create in Mantis belong to you. Your data is stored locally on your device. You can export your data to CSV at any time. We do not claim any ownership over your trading journal content.

Intellectual property

Mantis, its design, code, branding, and website content are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App or website without prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Mantis for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

Mantis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of data loss. Use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mantis, including trading losses, data loss, or loss of profits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
